best bet is to find a spot all too urself, any boats within 2 miles or so really hurts ur chances, good chum , maybe mix in a little bunker oil, good baits, best bet is skipjacks or bonita, whick we catch in summer and vacum seal them for choice baits come shark season, or just plain bluefish n mackeral.nice strip baits are better for easy hooksets rather than whole fish, or just butterfly your baits and remove back bones. def seem to do better with color skirts than with plain baits also...find clean water, no boats, chum well, and they will come....

Hey Mike question on the vacuum sealing your baits. Are you freezing the whole fish or slabbing them out first and just freezing the slabs?

No Cable for makos, never ever, their teeth can saw thru multistrand cable, if u want to use cable use 6 ft of cable then 6 feet of single, i like heavy mono, 400lb or bigger then a 6 foot shot or less of single strand, and circle hooks please, we dont need anymore gut hooked dead sharks out there.
