Wow! Looks more like something you would catch in Florida.

I hooked into one of them YEARS AGO while fluking on OCC. On light tackle he quickly spooled me and broke off the line. But man was it FAST!

Nice to see one finally, I only had a glimpse of it before it took off...

Called a "poor man's marlin" in Panama. They are spectacular on light tackle!

I was trolling during a bay cruise last Saturday and hooked this kind of fish.......thanks for confirming.

Thinking it was a bluefish I handed over to a green horn, it goes airborne a few times and game over.....wah, waaahhh.

Should have held on to that rod.

They're around....I've seen them cruising my lagoon before (smaller ones). I've also seen them cruising just under the surface near the inlet. Cool fish.

I landed one a week ago and during a trip yesterday we lost one. I bet you pound for pound they are one of the faster hardest fight fish around!

Wild,

I remember seeing a small one in our lagoon a few weeks back...

Hope to hook into one too.

Those hound fish are pretty cool. They have a row of teeth. while crabbing at night they always come up to the boat to investigate. They are usually jumping out of the water not far from the boat also. That's a big one though!!
