Description

Left the dock @ 445am. Lines in at around 650am. Stopped a little short of original destination because we had tremendous signs of life. After trolling for about 30 minutes, we're reeling in the ballyhoo to check it and a tuna explodes on that and a spreader bar in the outrigger. The spreader bar comes tight and and we boat a nice 34" Bluefin, first of the year! We continued to tag and release 4 more BFT up to 34". All fish came on Sterling Spreader bars. Pulled the lines in around 1045 and started running in and found a 40' log loaded with Trigger fish. Got 9 nice triggers to about 2/3lbs in about 10 minutes. Back at the dock at 1230 with some fresh sashimi! Awesome day. Was nice talking with Blue Pirate and Dante out there. Can't wait to get back out!

Released.) and one 31" mahi. Had another fish come tight and dive. Lost it half way to the boat. Likely another BFT.
