Had my long time friend an fishin buddy Capt Gene "Gene B" on this site take me to school today with his old school hand tied fluke rigs. We broke the inlet around 7am and headed to a few inshore wrecks, first spot someone was double anchored on so we went to plan B and hit a nearby snag that produced a ton of nice size shorts and 2 nice keepers to start the day.We moved over to another snag an Gene picks up a 22" fluke followed by a 21" fluke and then slams a 26.5" 6.76 lb beauty.We ended the day with 9 keepers,a limit for Gene and I added 4 to the box. Another enjoyable day on the water and a few fish for the freezer.
