Description

Decided to do a crew trip and look for bass today. First hook up turned out to be a 70 pound thresher caught in the tail. It almost spooled us on the initial run, but we landed and released it after a 20 minute fight.

Dropped lines back in around the bunker schools in 55 feet of water off the coast guard station, and hooked up right away. This time it had stripes and was a 48 inch skinny 35 pounder.

No other hits after that.

You would think they would be fattened up after wintering up north. Nice fish though. What time did you get him?
