Description
Lou(NJ LOU) had the hot had today catching the largest fluke(5lbs) and sea bass(4lbs). We had a tough day on the fluke today. Fished 10 spots from 45 to 90 feet of water. Our best fluke action was in 60 feet, and that wasn't really good. 3 Keepers at 18, 22, and 24 inches, and a bunch of shorts.

Andy, Greg, Lou, Rick, Mike, and AntMan fished hard today for a slim pick of fish.

The deeper spots salvaged our day with a good showing of big sea bass and some ling. We had a boat limit of sea bass and some ling for the cooler. Lack of tide and wind limited the catch big time. We had to power drift for the fluke we caught.

Back at it next week.

Sorry I didn't post sooner, my back was out and I just didn't get around to posting.
We had a great day out there for fishing, just not for catching. John tried like crazy to find us fluke but there was NO DARN DRIFT! When we finally got fluke, it was usually on the power drift.

On the wrecks we caught the Seabass and Ling John literally parked the boat on top of the wreck and didn't even have to anchor. It could take as much as 15 minutes before we drifted off at times.

Weather was beautiful and the guys I fished with were great. Thanks John!
