Description
Saturday turned out a lot nastier than the forecast, but we made the best of it. Despite the rain and wind, Angelo, Dave, Andy, Mike, Mike, and Joe put a good number of fish in the boat.

Angelo and Dave had the big fish at 11.5 and 10 pounds. All fish caught in 75 feet of water on green crabs. Final tally was 20 keepers and countless shorts. Strange day in that the keepers stopped biting for us just before noon.

Hey JT. Any theory on the skinny big tog? At 30in., Bret's fish was really skinny too. I have a 16 lbr on my wall that is 26.5 in and not skinny at all. My fish was caught in 1990 on the same wreck as Bret's fish! How crazy is that! I wonder if they're related?

Not sure butch, maybe they dont eat all winter. I heard what wreck you guys fished. Do you believe that i got two 14.5 pounders there in 1988 on the same day. I guess it has a history of holding big fish. Lol

Wow! How great is that! Every 20-30 years the big ones show up! Actually, they're there all the time. I think they hibernate in the winter and everything has to be just right for them to come out and eat. Really neat to be there when that happens!
