I catch these down in Florida on the Gulf side in October and they are delicious, not to mention fun to catch.

Yep. I've been fishing in Hernando Beach, about an hour north of Tampa. I go down every October and take my mom fishing. She's 92 and still has a blast. We rent a pontoon boat. I will always remember the sound of her hooting and hollering last season while she was fighting those macks. What a day! Hope we have good weather for a trip this year.

Fished the same area on Thursday, water was down 3 degrees and dirty. Only small blues. Continued south and ran into a few albies and bonito just inshore of cigar area. Slid off near Jims Hole vicinity and got a small 20-25# YF. Okay for a solo trip and better than being at work.
