Fished the incoming tide on Saturday. Took an entire chum log, but they finally found me. Only problem was I had to rebait 15-20 times per fish I landed. The were striping me clean before the weight hit the bottom.
The wind was really howling and eventually my anchor came unhooked. Since I had enough fish for dinner I decided to try other spots. I tried West Side, East Side, near Oyster Creek, research buoy, and I did not pick up a single fish of any kind. Kind of disappointing to not catch any other species other than one small snapper.
The water was 74. I am going to give it another shot when the temp drops about 10 degrees.
Made some blow fish tacos, which is one of my favorite meals.
