First tuna trip on the new to me boat yesterday. Fished right near the north ridge we got there right at the beginning of grey light. Short while later we found some fish finning on the surface so I marked the area and worked it hard for a few hours going 6 for 6 on BF all around 35-40 lbs with a 7th knockdown that never came time. 2 fish on natural cedar plugs and the rest on wide trackers and regular splash bars in green and black/purple. Tried poppers at first but no luck. The action slowed so around 9 we packed up the tuna stuff drifted a a couple of the ridge wrecks and picked up our 3 man limit (only 6) humphead seabass and a few ling. From there wreck hopped a couple more spots heading home and picked up our fluke limits as well ending the day with some meat. Home by around 2 going 6 for 6 on BF and 3 man limits of fluke and seabass. Great day all around
